Guild Wars 2

So basically, what the title says.

When I think of Human, I think Guardian or Thief.
When I think of Sylvari, I think Ranger or Elementalist.
When I think of Asura, I think Engineer or Necromancer.
When I think Charr I think Warrior.
When I think Norn I think Guardian or Warrior.

What do you all think?

Part of the problem for me is that I was a GW1 player – so when I think of Humans I think of all the professions xD. But with the other races

Sylvari → Ranger, Elementalist
Asura → Engineer, Mesmer
Charr → Warrior, Guardian, Engineer
Norn →Warrior, Ranger, Guardian

What I think is balanced:
Norn – Warrior, Ranger
Charr – Thief, Warrior, Guardian(Warleader, Dying for your warband…Think about it), Engineer
Sylvari – Necromancer, Thief, Elementalist, Ranger
Human – Guardian, Thief, Mesmer(The rest are also fine… humans… meh…)
Asura – Engineer, Mesmer
I main an Asura Thief by the way.

When I think of Sylvaris, I think of Rangers.
When I think of Asura, I think of Elementlists and Mesmers.
When I think Charr I think of Warriors, Thieves, and Engineers.
When I think Norn I think of Necromancers and Guardians.
When I think of Humans, I think of people who lack imagination.

As a GW1 player I’m propably singleminded.
But in my belief when I think of the races, I think of them as
Humans: Finding strength in numbers
Charr: Finding strength in will
Norn: Finding strength in honor
Sylvari: Finding strength in experience/knowledge
Asura: Finding strength in need to prove themselves

Norn – Shapeshifting is a total failure
Human – Barbie and Ken
Sylvari – Salat with dressing
Char – Kilrathi
Asura – The “we need a small cute race for the gurls” race

Human – all the classes
Norn – guardian
Sylvari – green party
Char – chinese food
Asura – eating char

Human – All classes
Norn – Ranger Guardian or Warrior
Sylvari – Mesmer
Charr – Warrior or Engineer
Asura – Thief or Engineer

This is my list, but only what I want or already have some of them as.

Human – All but mostly Warrior, Ranger, Thief
Norn – Warrior, Ranger, Guardian
Charr – Warrior, Ranger and/or Thief, Engineer (EDIT: Blood Legion for Warrior, Ash for Ranger/Thief, Iron for Engineer. Thought I throw this in there for fun )
Sylvari – Ranger, Guardian and/or Elementalist, Necromancer
Asura – Ranger, Thief, Mesmer

Human – Barbie and Ken, boobies.
Charr – Interesting people
Norn – Army of Clones
Sylvari – “I missclicked on character creation”. Also, mostly 20+.
Asuras – kittenBAGS UNITE!

Sylvari – Everything except Engi… ahem Scarlet (also my engi is sylvari)
Asura- Everything, sadly.

Why I dont see humans as warriors is because Warriors are supposed to be masters of combat and martial arts, I dont see how a human can compete with Norn and Charr. Sylvari are even physically more tough. Asura lore wise have tech that allowed them to compete with physically superior enemies due to their technologically advanced armor and weapons. Humans? hmmm

Humans – Totally not generic. Nuh-uh. Definately.
Norn – Totally not just humans.
Sylvari – Totally not just humans made of leaves.
Asura – Totally not gnomes.
Charr – Dentists: they’d make a killing.
