During the beta weekends, I saw tons of ArenaNet players running around. I have yet to see one running around since the game launched. Are any of you on Eredon Terrace? I’d love to run some dungeons with you.

I’ve heard they’re mostly fans of brass. Low brass to be specific.

I saw one in Orr two nights ago on JQ. He ran up, farmed an Orrian Sapling. My buddy and I gave him a /wave… he politely /waved back and off he went.

They exist… I promise.

Never met or even came across any of them…

They are like unicorns, only cooler and with fireballs :P

I’ve seen two so far.

A female employee (I assume), whose name I cannot remember I killed in WvW. They were storming our keep (We’re Sorrow’s Furnace).

The second I met a couple of days ago named Jon Peters. He was in Queensdale as a warrior, I think (again in Sorrow’s Furnace). I was on my thief, I said ‘hey’, and he stuck around for half the cocooned friend event and then off he went. I try not to bother them too much if I see one. I expect they get swamped with private messages as is, so I just mention that I love the game, and move on.

Are they somehow connected with title “God walking amongst mere mortals”?
Cause i don’t see this title in any of Achievements tab.

That’s a title that carried over from GW1.

You have to get the max rank in 30 other titles to get it, and for a long time it was considered a sign that you’d “finished” the game, so I guess they thought it was special enough to carry over.

I have not seen one myself.

But when someone from ArenaNet appear, I will sure try to play with him/her, as a normal player, and do events, or dungeons, and he/she might be able to show me a few tricks!

I saw Rubi Bayer in Rata Sum once. During pre-launch, she gave suggestions on map chat on how to deal with the blocking issues in the starting instance. I was able to finally get unstuck thanks to her advice.

i came across a bunch when i first started. they were either AFK or pretending to be AFK.

This just makes me really tempted, if I ever spot one, to go “Omigoshomigoshomigosh!” and trail after them like a star-struck fangirl. It’d probably be creepy, but pretty hilarious :P

Robert Gee is an NPC at Embark Beach… If you can find it! ;o

I am sure they have in-game commands to hide themselves. GM’s have been doing it for a very long time across multiple games. It allows them to find exploiters in the act and how bugs come about. How players REALLY react aside from they post what they do.

In essence they can see you, but you can’t see them….unless they want you too.

I haven’t seen one on Tarnished Coast yet. I’ll keep an eye out for these mythical creatures.

I can definitely understand why they would want to play on their own personal account.
