Where are the people at?
The majority are in the Fractals of the Mist dungeon id expect. The dungeon is great but its had the unintended effect of taking people out of the game world and into that of a dungeon. They are going to address this in the near future by improving activities and rewards in the ‘real world’ and by making ascended items available game-wide, not just in the fractals dungeon.
Retired and living in a shack. Relaxing!
alos the christmas stuff just ended, people (much like myself)) are a little burnt out and doing other stuff than playing this video game ((i still enjoy it but i have other things in my life))
use gw2lfg.com it helped me a lot to find groups, you can even group with people of other worlds. I dont know why this isnt implemented in game.
Got two toons to lvl 80 and got fed up about the mobs (at he higer levels), the quick respawns, grinding, low drops—it was becoming boring/frustrating. And then I got Far Cry 3 for xmas!!!
Logging in at 4am server time are we? There is a solution to some of these problems (besides the Orr one maybe, most people hate those zones by now) and that is to transfer to a very high population server and search the overflows.

huh i’ve never heard of that site before. It looks like it should help, thanks. Hopefully they implement something like this in game soon.

This. I find that MMO’s are most active during the Holidays (especially Christmas). People get time off, and theres a lot more content in game. But after a big event ends, the game slows down again. People go back to work, school and we lose the holiday content. I think you just picked a bad time to return OP.
Find a nicer server.
Early early morning on an NA server is going to make things a little dodgy, though, especially if you haven’t got much of an Oceanic presence.
