Guild Wars 2

Every now and then, when at the entrance to the TP in LA, I see someone come flying onto the steps from somewhere sort of to the northeast.

Where are they coming from and/or what skill is it they are using?

There are about 4 or 5 small, dark, circular jump pads on the ground. Step on one and it will fling you to the next until you reach the Trading Post. There is one near the bank on the Mystic Forge side. It’s by a low white curb, near some plants. They’re hard to see as they are small and not brightly colored.

I found one by accidentally stepping on it and getting flung to the bank. ^^

It’s a fun way to go from the bank to the TP. First person mode gives you an idea what a pinball feels like.
