I’ve looked around, and I can’t find any forum posts asking this (I’m sure thousands of people have asked the same question, so sorry for being repetitive).

— Where can I best preview dyes?

Obviously I can’t preview them off the TP. Are there any dye vendors in the game so I can preview a few and find a set of 3 colors that look good on my current armor? I don’t need to be able to preview ALL of the colors, but being able to preview SOME would be convenient. It seems really stupid to have to buy them blindly (by the “icon” color), only to test them and hate them (I’m not a completionist, or buying them blindly would sound like fun!)

What I’ve been doing is ctrl+clicking the item into the party chat, then right click > Preview from the chat pane, which shows your current equipped colors on the preview.

Bit of a work around, but it works.

Get the code
Paste the code into chat (guild chat where it won’t be suppressed)
Preview it
