Why isn’t there more GW1 stuff in GW2?

It has only been 250 years, where did all these items disappear to?

For example:

• There were surely tens of thousands of Claws of the Broodmother, what happened to them all? Sure some would have been lost, broken, rusted but surely some were passed down from Mother to Daughter while being kept in well maintained condition.
• How about those Voltaic Spears, those of you who knew how hard they were to get, would have to agree they would have been cherished for generations.
• And what about that Obsidian Armor, that was so coveted; none of it survived?

I am just thinking that the Devs would have a plethora of designs from the first game archives just waiting to be dusted off and released.

Now I understand that they can’t just take them straight from GW1 to 2 but wouldn’t it be easier using a preproven design rather then always starting from scratch?

Well all the armor were basically soulbound and same for any weapon that was customized.

Come on… you know what I mean but touche

The gods took everything with them when they left.

Voltaic Spears are around… Al’ir’aska is the name…

If anyone can figure out why anet hates gw1 so much speak up, cause we’re all wondering if there even was a gw1.
