Guild Wars 2

I noticed that earlier today, many of the server populations were mostly “very high” and now that number of “very high” servers seemed to have decreased by quite a few. And just a couple days ago there were “full” servers, now there are none. I feel like the population dropped today after the update. I am assuming they increased the cap earlier this week but today it looked like there were significantly less populated servers.

Whats all that about?

PS: in no way am I trying to suggest anything, so please just correct me, don’t just tell me I am being a troll (cuz I really am curious) Thanks

The descriptors you see are ‘at the moment’, not ‘overall population’. So yes, during the day the servers are less likely to be full.

I sure hope this is a troll thread….. They increased server cap so people could transfer to the server they wanted while it was free

Nah, I really didn’t know, I don’t know where people find on the webpages that the servers were increased.

They probably raised the server caps again. Contrary to popular belief, server caps are neither dependent on accounts logged on or accounts attached to the server, at least not entirely. They are artificially set, ANet watches server populations closely and lifts/reinstates the caps as they see fit.
