Hello there gaming brothers and sisters!

I have noticed something quite unusual. During all this time I’m here(since release of game) I haven’t noticed any GM online in PvP nor PvE or WvW. I must be blind or something, but there is nobody keeping eye on our EU servers.

I remember on recent SAB riot, nobody from ANET came to watch us at EU.

Can someone employed confirm this? I am quite confused…

For some reason, seeing GM around from time to time makes me feel safer…

They are still there.
But a good GM is an invisible GM. People will after all usually not break any rules if they know they are being watched.

I’ve seen a few on EU servers, most recently during Halloween, before that it was Pink Day in LA I think.

But as Lordkrall said they’re probably around more often than you or I (or anyone else) realises. They only have the red tag next to their name if they represent the official Anet staff guild, and they’ll usually only do that if they want to be recognised. The rest of the time they represent another guild and look like a normal player.

I used to be in a guild with someone who worked for Anet and 90% of the time he didn’t have the tag on. He most often turned it on to draw attackers in WvW away from the rest of his team.
