I got all the fossils in around 500 chests, i still have to craft 12 of them
I opened Dry Top chest more than 100 times in this week! I haven’t got it yet!!!
I was in the same situation. There is a guaranteed way to get a fossil by completing the pvp Maguuma Wastes reward track which also gives geodes,sand, keys etc.
I do wish you could trade the Unidentified Fossils for Ambrite, to be honest. A bag of greens doesn’t seem like a fair trade considering how rare these things are. (Especially since if you really want a Fossil, you can just do the PvP reward track.)
