I’m so confused.

I’m trying to get to the part where the green star on the map is for the quest Victory or Death on my personal story, but the closest I seem to get is the Narthex waypoint? Am I just completely overlooking something obvious here, like a staircase or a crack in the wall.

Please help if possible folks. I’m really excited to finish this personal story and kill Zhaitan.

Sadly, it is inside the Arah story mode dungeon.

Pardon me? The quest for the personal story is inside the dungeon itself? Can I enter without a party.. ?

No, you’ll need to do the story mission for Arah with 4 other players in order to complete your personal story.

They don’t. Arah story mode is still a boring bug ridden mess.

I found Arah story mode to be quite a fun dungeon. With the exception of the bugged fight, it has interesting bosses, mechanics and setting.

Arah story is fun, actually(compared to other dungeon story modes). It’s pretty epic, and I only experienced one bug with it, where the sound of the giant laser cannon wouldn’t stop playing. What I’m really sad about is that most of the in depth lore has been hidden in explorable mode dungeons, and with everyone rushing to get as many runs done as possible, it’s hard to just take it slow and have a look around, like you would do in your personal story or the open world(bar Orr maybe).

I don’t like the decency on others to enjoy the world, but that’s what ANet has been rolling with since GW1, so I wouldn’t expect it to change anytime soon.

getting into Arah on SoR last week+ has been an issue. Zone is seriously bugged and bots are glitching things every time server is reset. Gates to Arah have been closed for quite some time with no chance to start the event to get em open as its broken.

Yep, on my server, the event to open the gates/gain control of them, has been bugged more often than not. I’ve seen them open once since I hit 80 two weeks ago and it was at 4am CST and there wasn’t a soul to be found except a huge bot group :\

We did the event last night on Fort Aspenwood and it worked fine.

Yes, its in the story mode dungeon. I beat the quest last night and I actually enjoyed the dungeon. The ending was kind of anti climactic I thought but thats just my opinion.

I also must say i loved the music track at the celebration in FT.
