Guild Wars 2

Warlords of Anvil Rock [WAR] is throwing a banquet party tonight in celebration of achieving Commander status in the guild. We are queuing the Guild Banquet activity. I know here is a place in Northeast Lions Arch that requires some climbing but is inside one of the towns ships – like a private Bar.

I am looking for something that is scenic, or in game aesthetically pleasing without much interference from Non guild members. Or perhaps somewhere passerbys can join in on the festivities, but not chaotic like the center of LA.

Expecting between 50-100 to show.

Ideas?

Plenty of open areas around Lion’s Arch that are not the center… There’s a huge expanse of nothing in the lower right corner of the map, just north of the bloodtide coast instance portal. There’s also something similar in the upper left corner on the LA map, there’s also the entire underwater area.

Hoelbrak has tons of open space as well (in the outdoor parts and some of the lodges are pretty massive) and I’m pretty sure you won’t have any issues with overflowing the server. Actually, the upper left corner of the Hoelbrak map is a frozen lake with almost nothing and nobody around… sounds like a perfect place to have a large meeting.

The Slyvari start zone has some pretty big open areas right near the entrance with non-hostile mobs scattered about.

Perhaps the Great Lodge in Hoelbrak?

Vigil Keep, Durmand Priory, one of the “parks” in Divinity’s Reach, and the one I prefer the most: Idea Incubation Lab in Rata Sum.
