Last 24 hours a metric butt ton of linen got dumped onto the TP. Over twice as much as usual. Is there a new source of linen? Returning players dumping inventory? What?

I assume it’s just someone dumping since it all got dumped at the same price.

Just random dumping probably or a coincidence of multiple dumping at the same time.
I will save up my bags until they are about to overflow. Then I will move them over to a lvl 57 or so character and open and salvage all the material so that I get a bunch of t5 instead of t6, including a bunch of linen. I am sure others do the same.
Someone was just probably procrastinating and waiting to open all of their bags till now.

Typically if a large amount of mats is dumped on the TP, a lot of other people follow suit, worried that there’s something new going on that they missed, and rushing to sell out before the market drops further.

Then, there’s people like me who welcome the opportunity to invest in mats.

Regardless, nothing has changed in the game in the last 24 hours. So it’s players returning in anticipation of LS3.6, someone who opened a metric tush ton of champ bags on an L44-53, coincidence, or insider trading. (Since the answer is almost never the last, I’m putting my money on coincidence.)

My concern isn’t the 12K at 2.72s, it’s the over 30K units dropped onto the market overnight in the US (11pm to 4am). Not just the T4 cloth but T4 leather also got a surge of items placed for sale on the order of 25K.

Yes, this is a self interest post as I placed a couple 100 at the low price a 1/2 an hour before the first 5K dump. Being under sold is a fact of life on the TP but I’ve rarely seen so much placed for sale in such a short period of time.

Nobody likes catching a falling knife.

I usually wait until I have an entire bank tab full before I unload. And yeah that was me.
