Guild Wars 2

So a friend and i wanted to get back into guild wars but as we were playing after making new toons we could not rlly find anyone. I went to Lion’s Arch and every other main city and still did not see that many people and the same for world vs world. When i looked at the sever list they were all very high, so it does not seem like the game is dead. So is there a certain place where everyone is or is this game rlly dead?
Btw i play on the northern shiverpeaks sever.

Yesterday there was a new patch/living story update, so probably everyone was in one of the two locations where the story update is happening.

But is weird, there should be some people on Lion’s Arch as usually.

It is new patch week (the first since beginning of December) – everyone is camping the new bosses and LA has emptied because of it. It’ll settle down in a week and wvw/hub areas will be more populated again.

Most of the people would be either Bloodtide Coast or Lornars Pass. Also 7-11 a.m. is a very quiet time. More people in the evening.
