They did never, in any way or form, say that GW2 would have one expansion per year.

You also seem to ignore quite a bit of stuff added.

Fractals have been added, dailies for PvP (which awards laurels and possible gem-store item) have also been added.

Did they say they’d be doing an expansion every year? I can’t remember that far back.

Fractals don’t count as a permanent dungeon, otherwise you would get guild influence when you do them :P

I didn’t realise a dungeon was defined by the ability to get Influence from it

I think they once said they’d rather release an expension every year than using a subscription model. But I do not remember them giving the guarantee of releasing an expension/stand alone every year
Read that in an interview, but they were simply trying to make a point.

Fractals is not Dungeons….. =/ Dungeon its story/ Sets/ weapons/ REALLY guys. FOr 1 Year 0 permanent content. maybe if you do Living story…. but for ppl who left in september and com back 0 CONTENT for them. Only balance change. Daily its not content. 1 Location and Fractals. Tahs all its very bad permanent.

GW1: devs stated that they will release a new expansion every 6 months

Guess players did some math:
GW2= 2xGW1
GW2 expansion=2×6months
GW2 expansion in a year omg!

Yes they are. There were several mini-dungeons added with the Shadow of the Mad King update, they are still very much available (some are even used in the achievement to find the caches.)

So just because you don’t like it, it is not content?

Fractals is a dungeon, no matter what you say.

There are quiet a few other smaller events added as well, but one rather big meta was added in Southsun.

And new dynamics to the very way said content works,

So, you think they simply wrote a line of code and it was done?
Just because you don’t think stuff takes time or is important don’t make it true.
Every addition takes time and resources.

Guild Missions are also content, and some of it is quite fun.

No expansion…that’s what Anet say…unless its labled Top Secret…for Ncsoft’s eyes only…

Just temp. content which lasts 2-4 weeks and is then gone forever…

It is fully possible to complete a bounty with 10 people without much trouble.

Finding 2 targets and managing to take them down under 15 mins with only 10 people is almost impossible without tracking all possible bosses before the start. But with 10 members, you can’t do that.

Guild Trek should be the first challange type.

My guild has done bounty with 6 players. It was tough, but we did it. You can always ask other people in the map to help you.

We normally do it with about 10-15 people and we’ve managed up to Tier 2. We could possibly do Tier 3 as well but haven’t tried since we unlocked the other guild missions.

Not really no.
Before I joined my current guild my old guild managed to complete several tier 1 bounties without tracking the targets beforehand.
As long as you know their area and their route it is quite easy.

And since nothing is stopping you from tracking most of them down before starting, that isn’t really an issue now, is it?

Funnily enough Guild Trek is more or less impossible without cheating.

I agree there should be an expansion soon. No expansion is more focus on the gem-store is bad for the game.

So… how does that stop the things I mentioned from being new permanent content?

This is getting a little catty. BUT I would really love at least some sort of statement from Anet. These little things month by month that they are adding are interesting, but not SOOOOO interesting that I just wanna keep playing and playing and playing. I would love to just KNOW if there going to be some sort of expansion sometime in the future! or if these little things are the plan forever… and maybe some details like will it be a paid access kind of thing or will it just be an add on? or will there be a new race? when you start a new character will you be able to choose a different direction in your personal story? or will it just add to the end of your personal story?

I just wanna know what Anet is thinking… just a little bit… i guess im just desperate for information… anything!

A. There are public guild missions.
B. You can do Guild Bounties with 5 people, because people have.

Everyone who wants to participate can. Everyone who wants to make excuses, and cite reasons they can’t participate are doing just that.

They have stated several times that there will be actual expansions in the future.

Im really excited there will be actual expansions in the future, and I just found a post where a dev said that they will give an outlook on the future of the game sometime in late july so im excited to hear what they are gonna do in the months to come!

Just wait for the July Preview Video. They released one around January that described what they wanted to do for the first 6 months. Guess whakittens……been 6 months. Colin said to wait for around Mid/End of July for that video. Maybe expansion news? raid news? we shall have to wait until that video. That or leaked images/videos of expansion/content.

We have already gotten a leak from a french fan site and will get leakier things in the future. People just don’t like to keep secrets and once on the web it is everywhere these days.
