While we’re at it, where’s our Makeshift weapons and Katanas?! Then again I have a feeling those sets are part of the HoT launch.

Covert Charr Backpack was in the API for months before it was actually released. You could be in for a wait. That’s the danger of trusting to datamined spoilers – no actual release date.

I like your enthousiasm, but to be honest, if you get so hyped bout unreleased datamined content you are better off not reading anything datamined.

There is stuff in the dat-file for over a year and it is still not released (e.g. the paper back helmet skins).

If I have to speculate bout the Canach backpack then it is likely to be a HoT item.
The reason is that in the teaser vid we got at the end of season 2, it showed him as a member of destiny’s orphans. So he is likely to play an important role in hoT and so, if it is a gemstore release, it makes more sense to release it then. But it can also be added as a drop or a story reward.

Oops. I’m so bad at computers, I have no idea what datamined is, I thought these were only “hidden” gem store items, haha. My bad…

Personally, I wouldn’t really expect Canach’s Backpack to show up until he has some sort of important story role. Which probably means after HoT launches, unless they release some sort of lead-in patch before HoT itself that features him.

I may be mistaken, but I don’t think Canach has ever actually WORN the backpack, at least not yet. It’d be kind of weird for them to include an item related to a specific character before that character even used the item themselves.
