Made my characters minutes after the game went up in head start.

A guildie of mine made hers seconds after me. She got her present and I have nothing.

This isn’t just localized to just me either. What gives?

I agree, I still haven’t received a birthday present. Other people say they got theirs, and it’s making me pretty angry.

Well azure prower you first post on the forums was 11 months ago so you should be getting one soon its the year from when you make your hero or heroes. As for Galtrix you first post was 10 months so i guess at worst its 2 more months that is if you posted on these forums right when you started to play the game.

Anet usually mails things in waves. If you haven’t received it yet you’ll probably get it within a few hours.

I made my Mesmer before I made anything else. My Thief, who I made third or so, got his present. I’m unsure of when I made some of my other chars, could be up to a few weeks for the next oldest and the rest are around 6 months. I have no idea why my oldest char still hasn’t gotten anything.

I got it on all my characters except for my elementalist which was the first character I made. So something is messed up.

Haven’t gotten anything, despite having pre-ordered and creating when Headstart went live.

Same here. My ele was created when the game started (head start) and I’m still waiting.

I only found it on one alt, not on my main, and didn’t check on my other 3 alts made at head start. I thought it was per account not character thanks to the phrasing in the mail about it being one year since account activation, but it seems to come to all characters in time. So I can wait and see

My character was created 12-16 hours before my friend, he already has his and his account says 11 months.

I just posted about this in the bug forums, probably the better place to put it. All my characters except for the very first I made (my main) got their presents.

I made 5 character in the first week. 4 of them received gifts. The oldest one(made in the first minutes of server going live) still has no gift.

I posted on the official bug thread, but I’d also like to ask if you all were logged into the character that did not get a gift?

I recieved it and I was one of the people that created their character during the first minutes of head start

I created my main minutes after launch.

I MAY have deleted him, then remade him to reserve the name asap (pretty sure that’s a thing). I don’t remember.

Other than that, I only reserved one name. I deleted that character and remade him sometime during the Christmas holidays.

I’ve logged onto every character I have…. still haven’t gotten the birthday presents for my main that just ticked 12 months old.

I got 3, but I created 4 characters in the 30 minutes after the game went live.

The character that did not get a present was logged into the game as the daily physically reset at 5pm pacific.

Yes i was logged in on the character which didn’t received the gift when thy started sending them. Relogging didn’t fixed it.

I seem to have not gotten my birthday gift and I preorded the game and started playing on the first day of the 3 day head start.

Am I the only one that this happened to or what?

Nah, I’m still waiting too.

Make sure you are logged onto the oldest CHARACTER. the anniversary is per character, not per account.

If you have deleted the characters then the 1 year timer was re-seted

It doesn’t reset, it is only based on the age of the character.

Same here. Haven’t gotten my gift and my mesmer was created as soon as the servers came up for head start.

Plus /age says my mesmer is 12 months old. I have guildies who received their gift when their /age still said 11 months.

you’re not alone, but, don’t worry, it’s a poor ANet joke … I’m sure someone there, at ANet, will wake up in the next few hours and realise they … err, goofed. again.

I hope its a joke because i know the present sucks but still people are getting stuff that i should get because like me and others we all bought the game….

To be honest, I’d be happier with random mini. Maybe random rare mini.

I made 5 characters minutes after head start started. 4 got presents. The first one I made didn’t. What gives?

I have yet to receive my present. I created the character I mainly play within a minute of head start launch.

When I type /age both character and account say 12 months, yet I haven’t received the gifts. They are probably sending in waves.

Since they are mailed to you, make sure your mailbox is not full. I’ll bet 90% of the people “not getting them” have full mailboxes…

That was the first thing I checked :P

EDIT: Another char of mine says 11 months but she just got hers o.O

I also did not receive a birthday gift for one of my day-one headstart characters.

My mailbox is not full, and I received a birthday gift on the second character I created – just not my first (main).

I was logged into the character that did not receive her gift at the time of daily reset.

Not trying to be mean but don’t post on forums asking that question IF you deleted any characters since u started playing it could have been one they have the /age feature in the game for a reason it tells you the age of current character and acokitten. also gifts are based on CHARACTER age not account.

It doesn’t seem to have any relation to age whatsoever really. I’ve been showing 12 months of age since yesterday (my time anyway) and rolled on headstart immediately after launch (I was trying to grab a name which is why it’s 5 instead of 1 because I pre-planned my appearance on betas). I still haven’t gotten the present. Apparently half my server has and many of them state they rolled well after me.

So im not alone here! glad to know

I am having the same problem.

I made 4 characters on the first day of the pre-launch last year, along with my boyfriend. He has received his gifts, but I haven’t. I haven’t deleted or remade those original 4 characters, and I checked using ‘/age’ and it says they are 12 months old.

There seems to be no logical reason not to have received the gifts yet.

Same for me. Age says 12 months old and have not received my birthday present yet.

I’ve been checking my headstart screenshots for when they were made. It does seem that a few of my final-appearance first set of characters weren’t made until the 26th. I have amusing pics of what they randomly looked like from skipping to the end and creating with the desired name so I could then delete and remake at my leisure …

Anyway, Donari was clearly made and finalized first of all, and he doesn’t have his. Two of my first five do have theirs.

I’m not uber worried. After all, I have no huge need for any of the gift items and am happy ANet has made the gesture at all. I’m just adding my bit of data to those trying to figure out the pattern of awards.

Same here, made during headstart, 12 months in age, but nothing yet. Very strange.

I’m just gonna join the bandwagon here and say that I’m still waiting for my gift. Maybe the Quaggan delivering them got lost in his track. Maybe he got a bit sidetracked by that beautiful girl he’s been eyeing for a while. I don’t know and I don’t blame him; I just hope that he’ll eventually get to me.

Same here.. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one with this problem. I have a character that is 12 months since yesterday and still no gifts.

I have also not recieved a single gift. I created four characters within minutes of the headstart release. I smell an “Oops!” on the works. It’s okay though, Anet will get it fixed
