Same here. Still nothing. A bit late for a “wave”.

At this point I assume there was a goof for characters made at the very very start (there was about an hour gap between my ele and the rest of my toons being made).

Yet another person who has not yet gotten birthday presents on characters created the first day of head start. Just adding my bit of data to the list.

I have the same issue. Made within minutes after the headstart started and zilcho. /age says 12 months on the character.

So, my Character is 1 year old since yesterday’ and i was wondering if any of you got their Birthday presents yet? because I didn’t get mine…

I created my first character minutes after the game went live, during headstart, and I got nothing too. A couple of friends though, that started roughly the same time, got their presents.

Still no present for me on my main!

Same situation here, made a character right a year ago with my friends, but been left out of a nice present while they got theirs

The daily just rolled over again and I still haven’t gotten one of the character I made first.

Same problem. /age says my char is 12 months old but I didn’t get a Birthday present. A friend who made his char on same day got his. Only difference is that I was on my main during daily reset and he wasn’t the day when the birthday started.

ANet forgot about my birthday. No gift for me.

It’s Monday, they should be able to fix it today.

Everytime Anet is supposed to send me stuff in the mail, it fails. It took me two weeks to get my bank tab. And yes, i had room in my mailbox. So i wouldnt excpect getting the gift anytime soon.

Day 2 of being 12 months old and still no pressie. Hope they fix this soon.

Can we please get a response on this? My first character was created within 10 minutes of headstart beginning and I still do not have a gift.

A “we are aware of this issue and this is what will happen” would be nice.

My main character was created within minutes of the server going live for the head start, and I have yet to receive my birthday gift.

3 characters created within 2 minutes of the headstart going live (before the official starting time!), still no gifts.

same here but i don´t want anything since it is no longer my birthday

If it helps guys, I sent in a support ticket and got a response. They’re aware of the issue and working on getting that Quaggan on the road again. His mistress just won’t leave him alone.

So just be patient and they’ll get to us eventually.

The way I see it I won’t even open the present because it sucks. I will just leave it in my mailbox.

I loved GW1 presents because you could get something totally random and all my toons had a high chance at all getting something different. NO more mini purchases for me. So, Happy Birthday to us “slaps us in face”. Just a rude awakening.

As of today my first made and played character still hasn’t got his gift in the mail. Of note: he’s got a Jennah, as I transferred one to him from another character. Could the game be registering him as having the award due to that?

Yeah no present here either, despite character age saying 12 months.

Everybody in this thread has been playing since before the official launch. Do you really think we didn’t think/know of this already?

I’m also yet to receive my 1st characters present, I have 5 other characters who have all gotten there’s but my Ranger’s gifts are yet to appear.
What makes it weird is that she’s the eldest and was created like the others in the 3 day head-start.
Hopefully it’ll be sorted soon as am kinda anxious that nothing will be awarded to her otherwise.

Still only one birthday present (out of 4 characters rolled at the beginning or headstart, only the alt I’ve never played has a gift…the three I played have nothing – even my main which has said 12 mos for age since the 24th reset).

I made 4 characters on the first day of headstart, 2 of them have their gifts, the other 2 don’t. If I remember correctly it’s the first and last characters I made who have their gifts and the two in the middle who are missing them.

Not that I particularly want 4 gifts, but I am confused by how this happened and concerned that other people might not get theirs at all.

The game was released on the 28th so at the moment it’s only people who created characters during the headstart weekend that are eligible for gifts.

But if it is a bug I imagine we’re going to see a lot more of this from tomorrow onwards as more and more people are due gifts.

I haven’t received mine either, but it’s not a big deal honestly, I can wait to get my generic mini, and booster.

Again, official dev response:

’Update: Just confirming you have no worries with this situation! It will be resolved in the very near future, and if your character or characters earned a birthday gift, that gift will be given to you. I do not think you should look for this tonight, but it’s coming!

And the good news is: You do not need to submit a ticket about this situation. (After all, we got the party invitation and know it’s your birthday, and we’d never dream of missing the Big Day! ~ even if we’re a bit late for some of the birthday folks! ~ )
