Where the f... is my mouse pointer?!?
Have you tried the new combat option? It puts the pointer (a white dot) in the center of your screen and you move the camera around to aim.
ANet may give it to you.
Yes I have indeed. Works well for what it does. Does not solve this issue when not using that mode though.
Yes thank you. I’d prefer options ingame though.
Shake the mouse left to right until it reappears.
I also have this issue. I think visability is a big problem but it’s just a game so I don’t get too stressed about it.
Happens to me as well in huge zergs in DS that’s when i convert to my noob 1111111111 spam until i can find my pointer

I do this myself, since I lose my mouse pointer a lot.
Unfortunately, there have been more than a few times (when I do this) where it has ended up on my other monitor, which has thoroughly screwed me over. Lol…whoops.
Where, oh where, can my pointer be?
ANet took it away from me.
It’s gone, and I don’t know where.
I’ve got to be good
So I’ll see it again before I leave this ole Zerg.

If anyone is interested, I made a set of bigger/more visible GW2 mouse cursors for yolomouse:

A video that explains how to tell Yolomouse to use these cursors:

In these forums some time back someone mentioned the Windows option that makes a white circle around your cursor if you press CTRL. I put it on and have found it handy.
I don’t know if newer Windows have that. I am in Win7.
I also have this problem. I like to use full smartcasting so it’s crucial that I know where my cursor is at all times, just it always seems to go into hiding when I need it most. I would love having an option to highlight it.
How to Condi Reaper on a budget
Everything I say is only in reference to PvE and WvW.

Thanks for this tip. I’ll try this out when I’m home later.
I struggle with this a lot. I try to camp my cursor at my characters head so I know where it’s at, but that doesn’t always happen.
