Simple question: Where do you find good clusters of ambient creatures to use the maize potion on out in the open world?

Someone told me Godslost swamp, but my attempt there showed that anything located in/over the water doesn’t change, it just disappears.

Beetletun might be a possibility. There are a lot of rats there which, in the normal course of events, you have to clear as part of the renown heart there.

A lot of rats in Beetletun = one solitary rat once in a while, the heart always takes some time to complete.

WvW bl’s. The bl that gives you a wp in the SE corner of the map has a ton right by the way point.

Go to the Godslost swamp in Queensdale, and go to the shack in the middle, there are lots of birds and frogs there.

One of the instances in Rata Sum has a ton of ambients that are not green.

North supply camp in each of the WvW bordlerands has a few spots where 3-5 ambients spawn (largely chickens) in very close proximity. I use that spot to fill my life force on my necro often.
