I need to convert 25 Quartz crystals every day to make a Charged Quartz Crystal. I can only do this at a ‘commune-type’ skill challenge point.

Putting it out there, does anyone know of one that is close to lions arch/easy to get to? No mobs, short run time/cheap waypoints etc.

I use the one east of hoelbrak where you kill the wurm in the norn personal story. It’s close and mobs-free but there might be some that are even closer.

I don’t know if it actually is the easiest/cheapest but I usually WP to the priory one.

The one outside of Shaemoor in Queensdale is the one I normally visit.

You could also park someone in Ebonhawke at Fields of Ruin and visit Gwen’s Grave. As an added bonus, there’s bank access just a short distance away too.

If you don’t mind possibly running into players. The skill points in WvW are very accessible.

OP: I ask myself this question every day as I port to the Queensdale one. But I still go there every day…

Then I ask myself why this kittened time-gated mechanic is in the game at all.

Just above Lions Arch at the very bottom right of Gendarran Fields in the snowy section. Takes 30 seconds from Lions Arch to that skill point. There’s a veteran Ettin guarding it though and a couple Ettin juniors. If you have a thief just walk in and pop shadow refuge.

Smuggler’s Waypoint would be the one in Lions Arch that you can use to get there.
Icegate and Junction Haven Waypoint are ones in Gendarran Fields that you can use.

So of all of these the durmand priory one is the cheapest waypoint, smallest walk distance, and easiest. Also with convenience of nearby TP
