Which class does best with condition stats
Engineer is able to slather on tons of conditions.
Engineer is probably the best as tempting as it is to be a troll and say Guardian xD. Necromancer is fairly good as well as Ranger if you play them right. A spirit ranger with shortbow and sword and dagger can stack conditions really well. Maybe Mesmer too for the confusion?
Engineer uses the grenade kit though and that’s a bunch of fast stacks.
Necro —> Engi-—> Thief —- > Mesmer. (Warrior/Ranger)
Mesmer, though extremely effective, I’m putting in 4th because it’s a very narrow build set.
Condition count: Engi (They can do nearly all conditions with just P/P in seconds)
Condition stacks: Necro (or Warrior for just bleeds)
Engi has problem building stacks, but have far the most conditions accessible to any class, able to tap into them all with just a few key presses. While other classes have trouble accessing more than a few conditions, but can build huge stacks.
Elementalist : Burning (though Earth is okay for Bleeds)
Guardian: Burning, Retaliation (it requires specific builds to dish out enough of it)
Mesmer: Confusion, rarely Torment
Necromancer: Bleeds, lots of Vulnerability
Ranger: Lots of Poison, some Burning and Bleeds
Thief: Bleeds, some Poison and Torment
Warrior: Bleeds, some Confusion, rarely Torment
I don’t count conditions like Immobilize, Cripple, Chill and Blind because they are typically used for crowd control rather than dealing damage.
I’m usually really sweet… but this an internet forum and you know how it has to be.

I’ve have to go with this list as well. Necro and Engi are way up there though. Each profession has their own builds you can use for conditions but Necro and Engi can just pour them on and its not just limited to one or two different types. I do think that confusion and torment are neat mechanics and I’m hoping they get used more in the future than just primarily with Mesmers.
Thanks for the input guys
Looks like I’m rolling a engi then for wvw, reason that I ask is because I was about to start on ascended armor for the warrior condition with dire stats, but I go with engi. What stats for engi for maximum condition dmg? thank you

Stack building isn’t that hard if you do cond/pre builds.
Weapon: P/P, Rabid
Sigils: Room for customization here. Corruption is a must. Bursting, Malice, Frailty, Ice, Earth, and Torment are all good for the other, though Bursting and Malice are favored. Malice is a must if you’re going stacking.
Armor: Rabid
Runes: Undead for pure condition or Dolyak for survivability and Power/Cond synergy.
Traits:
Explosives 4 – Shrapnel, Incendiary Powder (Bleeding, Burn)
Firearms 6 – Sitting Duck, Precise Sights, Modified Ammunition (Crip+Vuln, Vuln, Mass extra damage)
Inventions 2 – Energized Armor (Power from toughness)
Alchemy 2 – Blood Injection (Cond from vitality)
Healing:
Elixir H (Toss Elixir H)
OR
A.E.D. (Static Shock)
Utilities:
Elixir B (Toss Elixir B) [All for stacking might]
Utility Goggles (Analyze) [Goggles for crit, Analyze for instant +10 vuln]
Throw Mine (Mine Field) [Explosives to make Explosives line worth more than Incendiary Powder]
OR
Bomb Kit (Big Ol’ Bomb) [Same]
Elite:
Supply Crate (for the stun on any in dropzone)
OR
Racial summon (Human Hounds especially good to supplement AoE damage and aggro)
