Guild Wars 2

I assume later on their will be 3 mining picks to choose from, but I’m not sure what one to get. I know molten one looks cool, but then again the watersomething w/e (too tired to look up the name), gives 20% sprocket something.. Then you got the Bone Pick… which last time I seen the effects reminded me of a different color version of the molten one.

So what one would you guys recommend?

The one which looks coolest in your opinion and fits your character theme.

Probably the Sprocket one if it doesn’t cost any more than the others since it does something a little extra. I wish my Molten gave me sprockets.

Many people wish the watchwork sprocket one didn’t give sprockets instead.

I’ve got one of each on my main and two alts. All have decent animations when using so would just go with the one you like the look of most.
If I got another one for another alt then it would be the Watchwork for the chance of sprockets to fall.

No-no, it is indeed giving both sprockets and ore. What I meant was that many people wanted the watchwork pick not to give anything extra, instead of adding extra stuff to the molten pick.

At 1000 gems for one at 162 gold 80 silver it’s cheaper to buy Ori mining axe.At 100 nodes per day you’d get about 4 years worth with that :-/

yes, there was speculation that an under abundance of sprockets would give watchwork mining pick users a ‘free win’ button.. i have the home instance sprocket generator and they actually are not worth too much..

i am curious to whether or not the randomly found sprockets from the watchwork pick reduce the number of extra items randomly found from other tools.. as i have maxed magic find and a molten pick.. if that is the case then i am actually glad i do not have the watchwork pick
