Which profession?
Condition-based builds aren’t viable. Have fun never getting a group.
Engi and necro are the best bets for condi. And yes, condi builds are not desired for group play because of the state of conditions in pve. However, you can still do fine solo or in less rigid groups. Plus, conditions in pvp/wvw = awesome.

That’s foolish, conditions are great in PvP. Only the PvE diehards don’t realize the full potential of what this game has.
@OP, Engineer or Necromancer would be my top picks.

The Mobile Turrets is one of my absolute favorites to play with in PvP. They also aren’t too shabby in PvE.
I’m a PvE diehard. Deal with it.
Condition build are not super great in PvE group content. But they are still decent in solo PvE situation. Engineer, Warrior and Necromancer are the best at that.
In WvW roaming and sPvP is where condition can shine. Engineer is on top either full condi or celestial hybrid. Elementalist is good but only as a cele hybrid. Other than that : Mesmer, Necromancer, Thief and Ranger are pretty decent. Guardian get more and more attention as hybrid these days, i’m not a fan since it focus mostly on burning and have limited access to other condition.
Engineer also have a decent zerging condition build.
Overall Engineer is probably the profession that give you the most good option for a condi build. If you want to focus on a particular mode, then take the list I gave you.
Thank you for responses. Forgot to mention, iam mostly looking for PvP or WvW condi profession, probably zergs, and pvp as usual. Iam doing PVE content as Ele and thief as i mentioned for solo roam or small groups WvW and Pvp. I will decide then between necro or engi.
