I find that aesthetics really are important in the long term. I plan on playing a guardian and have a mesmer alt.

Female sylvari. They are too preppy not to like.

Well about 90% of mesmers are human female wearing a mix of T3 armor, Arah shoulders, winged legs, and maybe necro starting glowing eyes.

So I would say that is most aesthetic.

But my personal opinion. Asura have the best “flare” and “style”

This completely depends what kind of aesthetic you like. Guardians have a greatsword skill where they leap and smash the target. It looks great with a charr, but obviously charr are not for everyone. A little bit more info would help us help you.

Personally I think light armor on a female human, sylvari or norn looks best. Well, I like some styles for all the professions/races but most of the ones I like are light armor for those 3 races.

A lot of people seem to think it doesn’t matter – they just get CoF armor and dye it black no matter what they’re playing. Not that I have anything against either black or flaming armor but it definitely loses something when you see it everywhere.

Highly subjective, expect no conclusive answer.

Going by everyone in Lion’s Arch, human male with shoulder length brown hair and heavy T3 cultural is the way to go.

As a Charr it is clear to see from that website looking at all the other races in heavy armor that they look much better cosmetically.

I really dislike the animations on my male Norn as Guardian so I’ve come to change its gender.

Human / Sylvari use the same animations I believe and female are very simplistic whereas male are more into the fancy thing. The reason why my characters are all female… Would be great to be able to choose between different styles on creation.
