Q:

Greetings!

I was wondering which report status to use on people we suspect of using mods/macros in game? I have been using the “botting” report, but was wondering if that was the best one to use?

Thanks.

It’s as I have always said,
“You can get more results with a kind word and a big stick,
than you can with merely a kind word.”

A:

I meant contact Customer Support, either through the interface on the webpage, or by email.

It really doesn’t matter which category you use. Those responsible for checking logs will do so, regardless of what it is called. If you feel the in-game reporting system is not satisfactory for your needs, you can always contact Customer Support and explain exactly what you feel the issue is. This also allows you to attach screenshots and/or videos documenting said behavior.

Thanks for the response. Are you referring to using the bug report function?

One of the reasons I originally posted this question was that you do not get to add information in when you use the “report” function. So it seemed to me that when I reported someone who was using mods/macros in the game and reported them as “botting”, the investigating team would only have that to go on and might miss the mods/macros because of it.

I have also thought of using the bug report function, but was not quite sure of that as well since it technically is not a bug, but someone cheating using mods/macros. Were you referring to the bug report or did you mean contacting customer support by another means?

Thanks.
