The Crossing or Grizzlemouth’s Spire?
I’m trying to decide which to get for my necromancer. Ignoring the fact that Grizzlemouth’s is ascended and therefore more of a testament to effort and dedication to the game, which do you think simply LOOKS better, particularly on a necromancer? I’m trying to decide which option to pour all my effort and gold into over the next month or so xD

Eh, I’m not a big fan of either. My Mesmer uses Kasmeer’s Staff, and my Sylvari Necro uses Bramblethorne.

Icon for Raven Staff is the default ‘under construction’ so it’s not officially in-game yet but I want it, that’s the kind of staff design/animations that I expect from the magically adept, not some stick with a jewel on it.

The Crossing. The dangling lantern is just so pretty.
Final Rest is also a nice (and much cheaper) staff that looks good on necros. But a common find among necro players, so if you want to stand out, you should aim for The Crossing.

Crossing is awesome. For necro, the only other staff I’d like is Delusion (I have one for my necro for when she’s 80). It’s just purty.

I feel The Crossing is usually the go-to staff for people who can’t be bothered to put much effort into their Necro design. :P

Meh, I use Final Rest on my guardian. My necro has the sclerite staff.

The Crossing as a guildie has one and it looks excellent.

Final Rest and the Pact staff skins are also pretty nice if you are looking for darker themes.

Ah yes, it is undoubtedly a nice staff. Looks cool and very befitting of a necromancer. Nevertheless as someone mentioned before, it is very widely used. I have been playing regularly for a little under a year now and I have seen a ton of Final Rests, but I have quite literally only seen one or two Crossings (and those on Guardians, not Necros) and maybe 5 or 6 ascended Spires. I feel like if I wanted to stand out a bit, the Crossing would be the way to go, so that’s what I’m leaning towards at this point.

The Crossing.

It just fits sooooo well with a necro. Right up there with the Final Rest skin.

Don’t look at me like that. Whatever you’ve heard, it’s probably not true.
