“One of the most immediate things you’ll notice when you take charge of the reaper in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns™ is that the greatsword attacks are slow. In fact, most of the reaper’s attacks have a fairly sizeable cast time. Drawing on the themes of horror monsters, we wanted to express a sense of dread and weight behind each blow. This means that while the reaper doesn’t swing a greatsword as fast as other professions do, the damage modifiers and effects for each blow are much more pronounced.”

Anybody? Anyone? I really want to hit you with my super fab GS attack, but you can dodge, run, walk out of its attack hitting. Can i interest you in some Avon, while we wait for my super fab GS attack to hit?

Shoot, I’m really sure I read something about chill in the Reaper article. Could be wrong, though.

Oh wait.

Chills. Chills. More Chills.

That seems to be the theme here.

- Shivers of Dread inflicts Chill when you fear.
- Cold Shoulder increases duration of chill
Not only that, but the GS has a pull to bring ‘em back in, and Necro’s still have plenty of their fears. I see control here, and anyone trying to avoid it will definitely have a hard time.
