Seriously, who in the office thought this would be a magnificent idea?

Were not the buff banners enough, really? These guild banners offer nothing, not even the full guild name, nothing at all.

It’s a bug. That’s all.

Even without the bug, I don’t know what they’re for. They should at least provide a minor buff.

They’re a transformation; they are for personal amusement. The bug is that they linger after the transformation has ended.

If it can be exploited, it will be exploited.

If it is annoying and can be exploited, it will be exploited til it is removed from the game.

Not sure what the issue people find with these banners.

They’re not really harming any one from what I can tell. All it really seems is people are just too sensitive responding with:

“OMG some thing is different in Lion’s Arch! They are assaulting my sensitive eyes!”

When they block the doors to the bank, the Black Lion Shop or build a small cube around a spawn point in front of any waypoint, or Asura gate that blocks you in, then it is more than “Oy, my eyes!”

I always smile when I run up to one thinking it’s a mf/karma banner.
No harm, it’s rather funny, though I prefer bees over banners.

I ran through every single banner. They’re not obstructing your movement. Try again.

So they’re not even an obstruction?

Yeah, calling it off as “MUH SENSITIVE EYES HOW DARE SOME CLEVERLY USE GAME MECHANICS” and “MUH IMMERSION”.

It’s cool for guild recruitment, but they should despawn after awhile.
