Why the hell are people getting so worked over ascended items, there is no upgrade component, you cannot add runes on these armors. You havent even seen the stats of the armor, for all we know the integrated stats arent on par with the actual runes that can be put onto exotic armor. We dont even know for sure if there is a full set of ascended armor. So far all ive read on the blogpost was rings and backslots. Not the mention that the integrated extra stats seem to be different from the current existing orbs (such as ruby orb and whatnot). what that implies is that perhaps the integrated stats arent as useful to popular builds compared to the orbs that we currently have.

If people hear anything about gear progression in a game like GW2, you can expect them to come here and complain.

I think a lot of people are afraid of the precident it is setting, much more than the actual stats of the gear. When some people see something like this they think…where will it stop?

nah most of them just have a metaphysical hatred against gear progression, or, they just hate WoW.

People starting to complain over a patch that isn’t even out yet is pretty absurd in my honest opinion. But there will always be haters and whiners… sadly. It’s getting way out of hand nowadays.

Calm down, take a deep breath and have some patience.
