There was no toxicity to be found while Amber farming. It’s very simple, each map has many instances of it running at once. Go to the one doing what you want to do. Leave the other instances alone!!!!!! These “anti” players are more toxic than anything else.

The only problem I found was that as players finished the achievements, the available “breach” instances became few to none at all. That is not a bad thing as it’s simply a sign of what the majority wants to do, which was farming.

Personally I don’t like farming. It’s hard to do anything about it since the game encourages it. That’s where the toxicity comes form. For whatever reason, failing some of the events has been profitable since launch.

until there’s another way to get a precursor, farming better stay.

As quick as the Valkyries ride,
As true as Odin’s spear flies,
There is nowhere to hide.

Farming is not where “toxic” behavior comes from. The source of rude behavior is people. While there are rude farmers, there are also rude anti-farmers, rude dungeon runners, rude PvP players and probably rude everything else players. That said, there are also polite and friendly players in all those groups as well.

The issue around rudeness in GW2 over farming is caused by two factors:

  1. There are people playing the game who are rude, or who act rude when thwarted.
  2. Many of the game’s mechanics reward cooperative play. This was a basic tenet of game design. However, there are times when ANet creates content that does offer the possibility of players working at cross-purposes.

Dungeons should be removed, by far the most toxic part of the community.

Actually, PvP is the most toxic part of the community.

I wouldn’t have a problem at all getting rid of this marketing hype of esports and mmo’s.
Remove LS, spvp, dungeons, and let this game grow from there. All for it.

So you basically want GW2 to pander to casuals and no one else.

They’re so very easy to avoid, so why do you want to get rid of something you don’t have to take part in?

Dungeons
No new dungeons since release, one dungeon replaced by another. I wouldn’t describe GW2 instanced PvE hardcore or moving forward.

LS
Besides the personal story episodes of lore and story (that are great), wasted resources on divisive shallow content tied to the gemstore.

Spvp
Players want a esport don’t look towards a fantasy mmorpg balance, play an actual esport game.

It was said lightly in response to another poster. But this is not a hardcore/casual perspective on my end, opinion is all.
