I hope this will be allowed to stay, as I just want to make it clear to the devs why I am quitting the game. As it has become increasingly clear that I am not the only one who feels this way, I believe that it’s important that the devs know, so they can turn the tide and do something about this.

I am perfectly sure the game designers will evolve the game as they see fit, not as you whiny people want it.

Im sorry you are leaving the game, ive read ur thread and i agree with everything that person said and with ur edits applied if any besides the quote commands.

Also its impressive how these ppl come to this game change it and show arrogance for players who actually enjoyed the game the way it was.

It was “whiny” people who whined to Anet for vertical progression cause they didn’t like the fact there was “no endgame”. They wanted a copy paste MMO like all the others and a carrot to chase. So they whined and Anet gave into them.

At OP, sorry to hear you’re leaving. It is rather sad that Anet kept deleting your post when it wasn’t breaking any rules. You had a well thought out post and very informative. Good luck in your future endeavors.

So, when Anet said that there would be a gear “plateau”, everyone just assumed it would be the exotic quality items?

Given how easy it is to obtain an all exotic set, wouldn’t it be a bit silly to make that assumption to begin with?

It seems to me that the ascended (and later legendary) quality is the actual “plateau”.

Or did Anet actually state at some point exotic quality would be the highest tier?

Exactly, swarm the forum with pro changes, delete the ones who are contrary with it, a very desperate request of you to try to give the devs the illusion of your so called majority.

Nope not really, if u ever played gw1, u could get max stats in 1 day without much of an effort.

Before everyone starts with the “just another qq” why don’t you take the time to actually read the OP as it is in the link. This has nothing to do with the stupid gear, factals, ascended what ever it is. There’s actually a few that are concerned with the state of the game before this from a company we have spent years with and actually had for some reason believed some of their promises.
