I have to say, now that Lion’s arch is where everything is at again, I started to realize how disappointed I am at that fact.

Vigil Keep surprised me in the way that I didn’t expect it to. Everyone was so close to eachother, everything was just a step away. It created player interactions that Lion’s Arch never came close to creating. With everyone right there you would see 10 people at any given time just randomly group up and start chatting, everyone had their own “table” so to speak just like at a school lunchroom.

The community really needed Vigil Keep. It was an anchor for the community. Lion’s Arch will always have a special place in my heart because of memories there, but I find myself missing Vigil Keep being the “hotspot”.

you realize that ‘hot spot’ had 50ish% of the vendors/merchants/luxuries of LA right?

Divinity’s Reach and Rata Sum were bigger hotspots imo.

Black Citadel was magical. I need that back in my life.

I’m so happy to have Lion’s Arch again. I just wish it were server-specific. I miss Tarnished Coast. Additionally, now I can play in Gendarran Fields without ignoring map chat! (Not that it was offensive, just that I don’t like a lot of chatter when I’m not idling. It distracts me.)

Because we can’t be angry about both?

I hated being at Vigil Keep.
It felt biased towards 1 out of 3 orders to me, though I knew it would make little sense to have all the things at any of the other orders, but still felt so.
It could never replace LA, also at least on my server people did all that chat and having quite a few people at a time in the areas where stuff was.

I miss the other cities being populated again already

We should put mystic toilets and other LA conveniences in every city.

I like the new Lions Arch, I just wish they had put a guild bank in everyone of the three hot spots with crafting stations and not in just one.

I only went to the Keep for the forge. For everything else, I used (and have for quite some time before LA was demolished) Rata Sum. Vigil Keep was less laggy than LA, but it was also less convenient. New LA is markedly more inconvenient, and has far worse loadscreens than it ever had before, but I’m still content with Rata Sum.

I think they should’ve left LA destroyed, forever. It was a nice reminder that Tyria is in danger.

I also miss the racial cities being populated again. LA was just very boring compared to ther other main cities, even Ebonhawke, to me.
