Looks so bad on Charr male compared to female version? I was waiting for a while already to buy this outfit only to get some potato version of the original outfit on Rox. What tf?

(Ignoring the awful dye selection in these picture) but what’s wrong with it? I like the male version better myself.

Its abomination. Ridiculous shoulderpads, stretched, buttcape, much worse dye patterns and most important it lack the fur at the neck. Its like a complete different outfit. Im gonna pass on this outfit, tyvm Anet but im not going to get it in current form nor change gender to make it look decent.

I find male version very nice and fitting dunno what’s your salty deal here or what you have been smoking, but nor I, nor Anet will lose sleep over the fact that you won’t get it lol.
If it is not for your taste than maybe you just should pass it instead of ranting on forums? Ridiculous.

When not buying a purely cosmetic outfit from the cash shop cause it doesnt fit your taste on your specific character is a big problem of the game then you know things arent that kittenome people might believe it to be,,,

1) Ridiculous shoulder pads: pretty much most outfits and armor has that
2) Stretched: isn’t that a common complaint for outfits/armor on Charr, not just this outfit?
3) Buttcape: well, ANet does love them buttcapes. You didn’t expect to get an outfit without it did you? The female version has that tabard hanging to the knees to block someone getting a frontal shot of your char, so both versions have unneeded privacy fabric hanging down.
4) it’s like a completely different outfit: gender specific version where the 2 sexes aren’t remotely similar? Look at all the other armors and outfits and you’ll see how common it is. This is more of the same.

Typical outfit imo.

imho large shoulder pads look good on Charr. The “buttcape” is archtypical for medium armor (Rox is a medium armor ranger)

Although I do get annoyed by buttcapes that don’t have a slit for the Charr’s tail. (arrggg clipping)

This one does have a tail cover, at least. Of course, when in flight, the buttcape flares out too much and the entire tail, cover and all, clips through the buttcape. (so yes, arrggg clipping)

The gender mismatch is somewhat troubling. The male one has this cool, glowy pattern on the chest and the female one….doesn’t. Why not put it on the back for female characters, or the arms?

It would be like having the crystal arbiter outfit and the female version….not actually having any crystals on it. Kindof misses the point of the thing.

Why do they have totally gender separate outfits? If they’re going to make two versions why not make each version the same for both sexes and release two outfits? I would love to buy the male version for my female chars as I prefer that one.
