However these were both just changed to be tomorrow instead. What happened? I assume they were all written ahead of time, so what’s the deal?

Maybe for localisation? That’s usually been the reason for delayed posts.

My random guess is because in a normal LS release schedule, tomorrow would be a regular gemstore update. Instead of [blog] [blank] [blog], it just goes [blank] [blog]. Gives players something to look forward to I suppose? And next week, it skips April 1, which would be a normal release on the LS schedule.

I am very excited also! I’ve been holding off on doing/using some things, and also preparing for other things just in case the blogs cover certain topics. I even have a brand new character made and set up just waiting to experience playthrough with the new changes when they go in to see how it is. Definitely some exciting few weeks here for us.

I’ll go find the link, but you might want to delete that character, because any character made before the patch (doesn’t matter what level) is grandfathered in to the old system.

I dunno what is wrong with me today, all full of optimism and hope, but I was keeping my fingers crossed the account bound part would be an announcement that they were getting rid of the whole soul bound bullkitten and going only with account bound as a binding. I can dream though I suppose.

Thank you for the heads up! I thought that only applied to traits and trait tiers that were already unlocked on existing characters in that they would not be re-locked or taken away with the new system.

Glad I didn’t fully outfit it, bind dyes to it (though that may not matter depending on how account bound dyes will work) or use a makeover kit to get the custom styles already. I think I will just leave the character as it is until the changes go in and remake it then as I want to keep this character name reserved…just in case.

Either way, watch out for the ensuing outrage and threats to quit the game because news that was ‘promised’ was delayed one day.

How people make out of flies directly elefants, only because they have to wait 1 stuopid day longer …. is way beyond me …

If they would have changed the day of release for those blogs now instead of 1 day 1 week back together with all of the other blogs that still have to come, then this this thread would be understandable…

But QQ for having to wait just a day longer is absolute ridiculous and pathetic.

Hm, I don’t remember what it was on Thursday when I looked, but they would have had to change it late Thusday since when I checked it Friday morning it was like 6am eastern time.

Sort of beside the point. Either way, what’s 24 hours difference really? Maybe they ran into a technical issue and pushed it back because they wanted to do some more testing to verify before releasing info. Maybe someone took the day off (weirder kitten has happened).

I’m just as impatient as the next person for the info, but we all just need to take a chill pill. Worry if it gets removed; otherwise, take a deep breath and accept that kitten happens.

So it would seem. Kind of odd considering I assumed they were skipping Tuesdays intentionally because there were going to be normal release announcements on those days (namely Gem Store stuff) and were trying to keep the two from overlapping, but I guess they couldn’t meet their original deadline or something.
