I love the Wintersday and was always exited bout it. Till now. I am totally disappointed. You builded new LA and probably most ppl were expecting Wintersday will take place right there. One could think that it was enough time after HoT releae to have some decorations, snow and stuff put into LA. But no. Useless Divinity’s Reach again. With that bow shape area making all things and players stretched, separated. Take a look at old LA Winterday screens. That was perfect. All centered, all ppl playing with each other, having fun etc. Oh..I totally forgot. Royal Pass Entrance. How convenient there’s that “all in one place” at Winterday instance so good wintersday ppl can spend some money on gems. And do you remember snowball fighters happily laughing when got hit? Just like year ago its dull and I feel more like a hooligan throwing stones at pedestrians. I noticed some incorrectly placed decorations too. I feel like kid that expected a train set for Xmass and got old ugly socks instead. Don’t know what are You working on right now and how busy You are but looking at Winterday 2015 I have in mind only two words – laziness and negligence. I think I know what to expect next year. Probably the same.

Wintersday is a human festival or at least one more celebrated by humans so they moved it to a city more appropriate to the lore when LA got destroyed

If you go to the Dwayna Plaza where you enter DR you can ask an NPC why wintersady is only in DR.

It doesn’t make any sense to have it on DR. We have new LA now. right? Even with big shiny (empty) round festival area in the middle.. LA was the nice place to hold event before and that is where we are supposed to hang out, right? What other purpose does LA serve? Let’s bomb it to dust again then if we dont use it.

There is no excuse. It’s not so hard to move same items to another map.

It’s a festival of the gods. Human gods. As such, only humans celebrate it.

…and of course Anet wouldhave to make Wintersday LA. Which they likely wouldn’t be bothered to do.
