I decided to mystic all the crap that came with the rev that it can’t use to see if I can get something useful and I get this…

First pre cursor and probably my last…can’t even keep it…

You’re not the first person I’ve seen today posting this. Hell you’re not even the 5th person I’ve seen posting this. I’m wondering if Anet didn’t raise the precursor chances just to be trolls, or maybe in HoT precursor chance from the MF will just be higher in general.

Frankly, the huge amount of “beta gear” is just totally stupid since we can’t use it on another toon anyway. what was the point?

Cause you can delete and create revenant with beta Slot as often as you want and get Infinite exotic stuff

No please don’t bog down support with something they will not do. It clearly states in beta that everything gained will be removed at the end of beta. I seriosuly doubt they will start making exceptions for people based on an item they earned in beta and want to keep. Support is busy enough helping people with solvable problems. SP, after our recent adventure with the Ultimate edition you should know support has real issues to work on.

There already tons of reports of ppl getting “Precursors” out of revenant exotics mystic forge. You are not alone there, this is just some joking, or bug (Probably the pool of outcome on is lesser on the beta, or somewhat like that).

So, don’t even get sad due to ti, because this is not “Destiny” playing a trick on you, just a regular game bug, or maaaybe a dev trick to cacth the griefer players trying to take vantage over the beta.

There will be many of these Q. Q at monday/tuesday here cause i guess many people cant / will not read their screen and will start after beta with “WTF where is my loot?!!! Game is broken Help!!!!!”

This. My friend I were doing it because we were bored. You obviously aren’t going to get to keep It.

Any precursors here are made using an extremely high supply of free exotic weapons (if you delete and remake your Revenant) so there’s no chance anybody will be allowed to keep anything they forge.

But that’s got to burn. Lol.

That’s exactly the reason why I didn’t do what op did. I’m afraid of my rev getting anything even remotely valuable.

I didn’t realize that you can delete your character, and get a full supply of Exotics each time. Couple that with the extensive claims that everyone in Beta slots are getting Precursors, and I’m leaning towards the speculation that Anet Devs made today “Feel-good Friday”.

Zommoros was probably buffed with a 1,000% increase in Precursor Magic Find. I’m gonna unload a bunch of GS from my normal toon to see if good fortune applies to non-Beta slots.

Played my reverant today and agree that giving us all that useless stuff just shows how little thought went into “i know lets keep our long term players happy” … Totally understand not being able to keep – trade – forge… the free stuff but cannot understand the "nothing will be saved NOTHING no matter how hard you try…

Played a little WvW – came across a good bunch so took towers and camps etc – gained a level… swaped chars and level gone…. still did the work…. still did the time…. still died a couple of time and for what…. nothing…. not a happy bunny…

liked the Rev… did not like having to stand and wait while the others took care of the long range stuff… liked the healing/ help you can give others.. but really dont like not getting my level that was properly earned…

I’m remembering the funny post I saw yesterday, where someone pondered if the Hand of Irony would give him his first precursor… in the test.

But as shared, items and wealth won’t transfer to your real account. That just wouldn’t be a good idea at all.

This is why you should not loot on your revenant, nor should you throw things into the mystic toilet. Only utter despair lies down those paths.

Maybe the point of beta gear is to try it out on your beta toon? This is a weekend event and I’m sure for some there isn’t enough gear to try every sort of build out. Better than first beta if you ask me where we all had cele stats and that was it.

Yeah I got my first pre today after five minutes in game doing the Beta. Oh well… sob

I’m good with the rules – if you get it on the rev, you don’t get to keep it. However, I am going to toss the exotics in the mystic toiled just to see that if I can get a precursor drop. Never had one, and just seeing it would be nifty.

I do not have sympathy for players who got precursors from the MF by means of the exotic gear the devs gave for free.

I do have sympathy for any who got it by means of a mob drop. That is a justifiable ticket to Customer Service, in my opinion.
