Echoes of the past is great. I haven’t done much in the Silverwastes yet, but it seems to have gotten good reception.

Why aren’t you making new currencies part of the account wallet? The wallet is one of the best QOL improvements, and you’re not using it!

At the very least, these items are permanent currencies (not seasonal) and must go into it:
Bandit Crests.
Geodes.
Tournament tickets.

That’s a pretty good point…I know other currencies don’t end up in the wallet because they’re used in crafting in some way, but those items aren’t.

It was mentioned before, can’t remember which thread to link it, but an ANet dev said they didn’t want to add any more to the wallet to avoid cluttering it up any more than it already is.

They really need to reconsider that if they’re going to introduce a new type of currency every time they make a new map, you don’t have to look very far ahead to see this is going to get ridiculous fast.

Encourage you to purchase bank space/bag space in the gem store?

I assure you this is not a blind oversight. Theres a method to the madness because this is such a “duh” sort of thing.

I would like to be given the option to convert all these currencies into one another. And they really should reduce the amount of currencies we already have.

That seems like very odd logic to me. When the wallet was introduced one reason given was that it’d be easy to add new currencies to it and it would avoid cluttering your inventory with tokens. it seems totally counter-productive to say they now want new currencies to go into your inventory so the wallet isn’t cluttered.

I can understand not adding temporary things like festival tokens (especially since a lot of them are also crafting materials), but geodes and bandit badges are both permanent and only used as a currency, which is exactly what the wallet is for.

I can’t see them doing that. Part of the reason for adding these map-specific currencies is so you have to play the relevant content to get the rewards. You can’t just farm the same dungeon over and over and then go and buy everything added in the new release, you actually have to go to that map and do those events to get it. Same reason the dungeons have separate tokens.

Im definitely in agreement that these new currencies (and that’s what they are) belong in the wallet….and not clogging my bank space. Having them in the wallet won’t ‘deter’ me from me buying bank tabs or character slots… I plan on doing such anyway!

Why aren’t you using the wallet?

Because bag slots are in the gemstore. I think it’s one of the not completely evil tactics once you remember they need funds to release new content.

That said, I would be happy to see these moved to the wallet. Along with foxfire clusters and blade shards moved to depositable materials.

Don’t forget the keys. Zephy and Bandit keys should be in the account wallet as well. That way it doesn’t matter which toon you’re playing on, you don’t have to keep swapping/keeping separate set of keys.
I really wish there was just a Living Story wallet, that had any and all of the currencies/items needed for Living Story stuff. Heck, even the Scarlet codices (which I’m still holding onto in the hopes that we get some way of converting any remaining into one type) should be included.

I agree. If they’re going to keep adding currencies to the game they need to be adding them to the wallet system.

I also think they’re adding way to many currencies to the game as it is. USE the ones that you have already.

Yes please. These are obviously currencies, so please put them in the wallet. I get the special currency trend lately to encourage playing on that particular map for particular rewards. I frankly support this too, just don’t make me carry stacks of these.
Additionally, it is very awkward for those of us who play with many alts. Transferring the currency from one toon to the next is rather annoying and I think one of the main reasons the wallet was put in place initially. Please help!
