One thing that’s bothering me is how your appearance in sPvP and all the other aspects of the game are completely different from each other.
It’s kind of weird that I spend hours doing dungeon runs for some good looking armor skins, and then end up not being able to use them in sPvP. (Note I don’t care about the stats, that’s an understandable point, just about the looks).
The other way around you could get rank 30 in sPvP and still look like a kitten if you’re not doing sPvP…is it really such a problem to allow players to transmute their unlocked armor skins onto PvE pieces (or vice versa)?
Kind of beats the point if you farm sPvP and can’t even use your unlocked skins anywhere else. The same can be said about farming a dungeon set then going into sPvP where you can’t use anything but the starter sPvP set. At least allow us to transmute them?
Hell, even in GW1 you could at least go with PvE armor into arenas. GW2 has the transmute system to further optimize this (if you transmute PvP items you won’t be kittening yourself because you have PvE-focussed stats or w/e on your gear) but the game doesn’t make any use of it. Instead it feels like 2 different games, which is kind of odd considering it’s an MMO. Allowing us to transmute these items isn’t gonna hurt anyone, either.
