Why copy WoW's 1-75, 76-150 etc Crafting?
What a waste of a thread…

You say that like WoW was the first one to use that system. No, they copied it too from DAoC. Actually just about everything in WoW came from another game. They just took a whole bunch of stuff from other games and didn’t really try anything creative or original(at release that is)
Well changing the numbers wouldn’t mean anything if the experience earned/needed didn’t change. Personally I would’ve done it lv1(copper and jute and junk) to lv6(orichalcum, gossamer, etc), but that change doesn’t change anything if it needed the exact same amount of exp per level/total to reach the max level. It’s just an aesthetic thing really.
Waste of 10 seconds of my life reading this thread.
Who says they copied it from anywhere?
Sometimes certain systems or values are used a lot in games simply because they work better than the alternatives. For all we know Anet started with the aesthetic design of the craftable armors first and only determined the crafting tiers and leveling increments later.
