It was always south of Lornars pass and with the new “cliff” it replaces 2 zones Tasca’s Demise and Mineral Springs, the latter being one of my fav zones with no room left to put them in as hoelbrak is were frostgate was and to the right is nolani with not much space inbetween

also lornars pass is alot longer in gw2 i think ne ways as if u look on gw1 map its length is the same only with drift.

Global warming? As I recall, Lornar’s Pass was snow and ice from top to bottom.

The table is a fable.

this would have a cerian effect though not as your thinking of it . A few things neeed to be kept in mind when looking at the known world .

The Elon river was Diverted by Palawa Joko

The Rising of the dragons obviously reshaped the landscape quite a bit.

The Volcano’s eruption . You know the one Glint told you was gonna erupt right after you defeated the Massat in Hells Precipice

and of course Mount Maelstroms eruption

Between Mount Malestrom erupting and warming the lower portions of the shiverpeaks, the Elon river reshaping the desert, the other catastrophies the dragons caused, it stands that the shiverpeaks could have changed a lot, and the reason Lornar’s Pass looks so long now is that they condensed the zones leading up to it (Snake Dance, Dreadnought’s Drift, Lornar’s Pass is now all 1 zone). Since they didn’t need to break it up into smaller instances like they did in the past there was really no need to break it up like that. If you look carefully some of the original geography is there but a lot has changed not to mention the fact we can jump now so we can access areas we couldn’t before. I don’t think we can access Mineral Springs nor anything that far east in the Shiverpeaks yet, it’s in the area labeled “Deldrimore Front”.
