Hi guys
I have a Sylvari Guadian, and for more than once I regreted doing that character. Today I regreted again when I saw a bug in the Arah Armor. Now you may think “A bug in Arah armor? Mine looks fine” and you will most likely be correct, it just happen in Sylvari. I have noticed some bugs too in cultural armor, the only armor I really like on Sylvari and so, as it bugs be extremely looking at those bugs once I find them I had to equip with another armor set, my second favorite, just to find out it’s also kittened up.

Not the first, not the second time and I’m tired of this, everytime I find some armor set with the Sylvari it becomes ruined once I find this little bugs. Cultural T1 and T2 are bothe ruined for me and so never bought T3 with fear the same thing will happen. It only happens with my Sylvari. I really considering doing a new Guard, either Human or Asura since Ascended is now account bound.
Does kitten like this happens to anyone else?

It would be helpful to provide a screen shot of non-grim dark colors, as it would make the details stand out more and thus make the bug easier to see, although I think I sort of see it.

Lil tip: Twilight Arbor armor clips with Staff, and also Greatsword if you aren’t thin like a twig.

I have a Sylvari female warrior and ranger, and a male engi.

Warrior has 3 sets of armour, all mix and match. No issues here.
Ranger uses Krytan armour. No issues.
Engi uses T3 medium. No issues.

In the past my ranger used mix and match, it had no issues. My engi also used rascal armour and a few other low level sets at some point, had no issues.

As for the Arah legs, the biggest issue is it has a thick piece of solid cardboard hanging off the character, and it looks crap regardless of race choice.

I’m not sure what I’m looking at. Is the cloth bit of the trousers hiding behind the greaves?

edit: scratch that. I was seeing the inner far side of the cloth.

Okay what happens it that in the human the cape is strait and with the sylvari it kinda folds and then while walking it follows my leg and it doesn’t happen with Human. With cultural wasn’t that it was some shades that appeared in the armor.

What else look good in a Sylvari really? CoE? I’m kinda desperate here about this, because this is a huge matter IMO, after all skins is one of the major end game goal of this game :/

Skins? Endgame? This isnt a comedy bar.

And yes, take a new screenshot with different colors so we can actually see what we’re looking at.

My Sylvari female warrior uses:

Set 1, Soldier stats:
T3 helm
Arah shoulders
Gladiator chest
Arah gloves
Vigil pants
Barbaric boots

Set 2, Berserker:
Vigil helm
Named shoulders (Koss, Devona, Yakkington etc)
Vigil chest
Ascended gloves
Barbaric pants
Hall of monuments boots

Set 3, Celestial:
A random assortment of living story skins, deliberately made to be an eye sore.

Obviously set 1/2 will look vastly different on a male. But mucking around with mix and match can give some fantastic results.

I have a friend who’s male Sylvari guardian uses a mix and match to make a really bulky look. It looks great. I think it used HotW shoulders, SE gloves, the rest I can’t remember, but they were bulky looking pieces which wouldn’t be hard to find and match together.

Full sets are over rated. Mix and match for life.

Sylvaris having problems with bugs? Sounds like they just need a good crop dusting.

Ah ok I see it now, as for heavy sets……hmm…..have you tried the TA armor?

I’ll tests with Vigil and Whispers heavy. Maybe Vigil because that the order I choosed and I like things to make sence. Call me weird but are these small details that drive me crazy

Does it? Must only clip on males then o_O
