Why does Foefire have more dye channels than Legendary Armor?
Many armor skins offer 4 dye channels, it’s how they were made and most were made long before legendary armors came out. It’s just how they decided to make the legendary armors.
Pretty sad, isn’t it.
In terms of customization the legendary armor is worse than outfits. Outfits only have 4 dye channels but at least you can change the particle effects on them.
the armor needs a rework in the way it dyes
Cash shop always has 4. being able to dye your gear is already a luxury they offer for free and not make you pay for. be gratefull lol
Better question: Why do you even bother with legendary armor per se?
Honestly, it’s simple: You buy Foefire from the gem store.
Because Foefire was designed to have 4 dye channels and Legendary Armour was designed to have 3 dye channels.
I said from release of it that “Legendary” armor wasn’t very “Legendary”. I guess the big gimmick was the transformation. But the transformation only occurs once when you start combat and once when you end combat – its not like it is constantly happening during combat like a Legendary weapon effects.
I do not think legendary armor should have less dye channels than others in the game as well. A fourth dye slot would be good for the legendary sets and I don’t understand why legendary armor was made with less. Would be nice if was added in. Honestly if I got a set I would reskin it because I like other sets better, but a legendary set should not lack features that other non-legendary sets have when it could use it.
I guess legendary armor had to have at least one flaw with it. I’m sure most would be content with it being a lack of dye channel versus something aesthetic about the armor set(s) themselves.
they would be ye if the armors dyed properly
