Guild Wars 2

Title sais it all.

Every city has hundreds of chairs, tables, banquet areas etc etc. Event the leaders don’t sit like queen Jenna, she has a nice throne and stands there all day. Same with the big dude in the Norn city.

I really feel Anet got lazy on this one and while creating a beautiful game just said to hell with it on the immersion and making NPCs actually use those hundreds of chairs and tables sitting all over the place. They just stand around or sit on the floor.

This may sound like a silly topic but next time just run around and you will see what I mean.

Hm, I haven’t thought about that, true though. It doesn’t make sense if you think about it, and it would be neat to see some variety there.

It is true, I’ve been there. Would be really nice if we could do it somehow.

Anet need to patch in some pile cream lol

I find it ironic that a game that (rightfully) prides itself upon have greater environmental interaction than other MMOs lacks something as basic as being able to sit in a chair. It would also be cool if you could keep the upper and lower body animations on emotes separate so you can /sit and /wave without having to stand.

It’s been funny to see people (and myself) RPing, but when you sit on a chair you end up half-embedded into a table or something nearby.

Not to be one of “those guys,” it WoW had it set up where you could “use” a chair, which would make you sit in it. Seemed to work pretty well.

I think it would just be akward for norn or charr to sit in certain chairs…

lol i love when you go into durmand priory and there’s all the desks with norn and charr sitting in them….
