I always have been wondering this. Most other MMO offer PTR tests to accurately find and kill bugs, buy this one doesn’t? It is clearly that the people responsible for bug testing are under heavy pressure since very obvious bugs like the cliffside fractal boss and transformation bug goes through unnoticed.

Fetching a whole map of people to focus on doing something particular like SPVP, dungeons or zerg some event, will be much more effective of what we currently have.

I would also appreciate if someone of the bug team posted how the work is done and clarified things a little.

If they had a public test realm, they would have to deal with actual player feedback instead of just doing whatever they want (including making the game into nothing more than grind grind grind) and then ignoring (merging/deleting etc.) all the player feedback.

It’s much more difficult to be opaque about changes players will hate if there’s a test realm.

I’m guessing it’s because they don’t have the money for it. Running a PTR is not free, and they need someone to monitor it as well. Who know if it would even be populated.

I have played the other games with a ptr and they dont make the game any better at all many of the so called testers are only on it to see new areas and find exploits they then do not report. Im not saying everyone who plays ptr`s does this as i know for a fact they dont but a lot do which is shame and you still get bugs in the main games.

I can tell you from 8 years worth of experience that a PTR does not catch all the bugs, even major ones get through. It is what it is.
