In the last cinematic from scarlet’s death, we saw the leylines reaching the surface. It would be awesome if we would see the leylines now in game too. What do u guys think about that?

It was a quick plot device by the writers to make the story try to flow.

I don’t think the leylines are usually visible. They’re usually a faint stream of magic flowing throughout the world. That’s why Scarlet had to search for them in the first place using those probes.

The only reason they were visible in the cutscene was because whatever Scarlet drilled into released a massive surge of energy at once. All that energy flowing through the leylines in a single burst “overloaded” them and made them visible for a time, but I imagine the excess energy would bleed off pretty quickly and they’d go back to their usual hidden form.

If you dive down to where the drill crashed you can see them.

I would suspect they are naturally invisible but detectable but what Scarlet did made them briefly visible especially since they are now invisible again.

Anyone go down to the very bottom of the drill and see what is down there? Possible ley line remnant energy or maybe whatever she used to trigger it….. Worth a look.

There is a purple miasma energy cloud floating down there where the drill is… but that’s about it.
