Guild Wars 2

I would like to know why I now have to relearn all my slot skills even though just a day before I was set up perfectly, had everything on my build specifications set….but now I find that not only have they destroyed my build, but I have to REPURCHASE skills??? What kind of company pulls the rug out from their customers like that…horrible business ethic…horrible. I want to know that 2 months from now this wont happen again, this whole “lets change the game mechanics 100% every few months” business plan that is en stowed within arena net at this time isn’t working for me. Should I find another game to play?

And the Skills and Balance Changes on the Next Episode of Ready Up by Joshua Davis on June 12, 2015 almost 2 weeks ago.

Its not like this was a stealth change…. and you gain more for your points now before a fresh level 80 lvled with tomes of knowlage wouldent get all the utilitys bought with skillpoints just from that.

you obviously havent been with guild wars for a long time. Anet makes changes like this every couple of months or so, which changes the meta, and re encourages other people to play the game. Learn to adapt to this changes and you’ll do well, i have 8 lvl 80s repurchased skills on all of them but cost me 0 gold. i don;t knwo what you are QQing about, but hey if you leave your choice, i’m a gw1 vet since 05 and this change i approve, hated at 1st but i’m used to it and i adapt.

Thats a terrible excuse imo, your basically saying just deal with it when they should come up with a system that works and stick to it, then they can do fun changes like changing the world while we get settled into our builds.

Constantly changing the trait system is not fun at all, its like basically saying don’t bother getting comfortable with your character because its always going to be broken and never fixed <_<

I love it when they do major changes like this. Stagnation kills the game for me, and these changes are a great way to make it feel fresh again.

Yes! someone that agrees with me, apparently some people like playing the same build for 2 yrs…..as much as i enjoy this game, i take some time off when i get bored, and changes like this brings me back to the game.

Eh, just soloed the final chapter of personal story on one of my toons. Also the whole spec thing.

Still checking it out, but my first impression is that the game is much simpler now.

What ever. I’m normally Ok with these threads, but I’m tired of people kittening. its an MMO. This happens in EVERY MMO IN EXISTENCE THAT THAT HAVE PATCHES. Deal with it or go play a single player rpg.

I just finished a Silverwastes run and this is pretty much what I thought. Which hopefully means that they’re preparing for the “more challenging content” in HoT.

I believe the quote was, “please let us know if we failed to ruin your build so we can get right on it.”
