Well one positive thing about DusK’s argumentative behavior is that I just found out you can ignore a forum user by clicking on their name.

PvP is the point and focus of this game no matter how much PvE content there is.The sooner you understand that the better off you will be.

That’s an awefully surprising statement considering how much time, energy and money they put into the leveling experience to just have PVE die at 80.

I don’t think Dusk understands what people are asking for here.

I may have misunderstood Lance, yeah, and his suggestions are reasonable and don’t impact the core design of the game in a way that would alienate the people who bought the game knowing what they were getting.

But I have seen a few people insist that the only way this game could be good is if your numbers constantly go up after max level, which runs opposite to the design of this game, as well as some hilariously ignorant arguments about gaming in general (“good games don’t thrive off of just satisfying gameplay” might be the stupidest thing I’ve read on this forum ever). Thankfully, that’s not what this thread is about.

Sorry for getting off topic, Lance.

good op thread that atleastis constructive. what i can say is give time to the game, i don’tunderstant what the hurry. people that are mad about the nothing to do at endgame, well come back later you will have your content. for the ones that say this game will be dead in one month, it will be not with updates and added content this game will be here for a long time.there is 2 million gw2 players(2 weeks ago) and in the forums there is no near that, only checking views of threads and you see it.

Thanks, anu. I’m certainly patient about the gameplay; I just figured I’d give my opinions on the topic and hope that someone at ANet sees it and give it some consideration.

I would also like to point out that there has been quite a bit of content that I haven’t even had a chance to participate in simply because there were never enough people around to be able to (Orr, I’m looking at you).

I really think if we can find a way to insentivise or even advertise these areas better, we’d see a lot more engagement from the lvl 80 player base.

DEs need better scaling, yes.
They are both too hard to solo and AoE instagib faceroll with a team.
Difficulty should increase a lot more with teams and decrease a bit when alone.

I really hope Anet reworks DE scaling and especially give you infos on those “anti-bot” things and telling us exactly what we’re supposed to do and what we are not supposed to do.
