Why guild halls are always empty?
My suggestion is at least have proper banker, trade post and maybe MF in our guild halls. People use HotM to access bank, tp and merchant constantly, why cant we use our guild halls that way?
Because Anet doesn’t want to pull too much activity away from the cities.
in before small guild complain it is too costly to upgrade a guildhall with no use.
I heard about guild anthems are gonna be added. W/e that means, more music options?
Because the guild halls are boring.

I love my guild hall and plan to marry her after I can save up enough for a ring. This will require 100 linseed oil, 4 black diamonds and more mithril than you can shake a stick at but it will be worth it.
On topic: I’d rather see cities populated than guild halls.
So people in a social guild are only in the guild hall to be social? This is a problem? If the halls where filled 24/7 it would mean the other areas those people usually are in are now empty. You will then have people demanding that those areas become more attractive to be filled 24/7. Rinse and repeat.

Scribing costs are being reduce so you maybe able to find a ring on discount soon (Trading Post, discount market).
Gw1 guild halls were pretty empty too, unless you were there to dual or guild vs guild. Gw2 guild halls gives you all of those options and way more, you just gotta build up for it.
They are good looking ghost towns
For instance the pvp arena is so kitten small… Make them part or pvp mode, where guilds attack each other GHs… GvG anyone?!!?!?!?!!!

Most Guild Halls in MMO’s I’ve played in usually are, it’s just that the GW2 ones are so over the top in size, with no reason to fill that space, that they seem emptier.
Guild Halls are status symbols – something to show a Guild’s progression and occasionally a place to have Guild meetings. But, they rarely serve any actual purpose – GW1’s GvG was a good example of where it utilised a GH well and tactically as well.

Cause guild halls are useless feature. Waste of resources. Same goes to housing really. Its not Sim game, in mmo you want to keep moving and progress.
Playing Smite since mid s2, f broken gw2.

Maybe there is also a lot less players interested in them then peopple thought.
I’m also with the same group as the guy above. What’s even worse they were done on actual maps that could have been used as real maps with real content. Now the Maguma Wastes and Jungle are even smaller.

Even if you have all the resources in the world and you love to decorate … the decoration interface is pretty bad.
I find them boring i like spending my time when logged in playing and i have never understood the appeal of instanced home except for RP purpose other than that i find player housing useless.
You meet there for guild missions, farm nodes, get boosts. Why hang around?
RIP City of Heroes

Doesn’t seem very useful to gather there for missions either. It is as good a place as any other but even when you are in a squad and using the guild portal it can still split out the group across multiple instances.
There’s not a lot of ways to keep yourself amused by staying in the guild hall, unless you’re in a guild that uses the arena all the time.

Then they should not sell/sold the “Royal terrace pass” and the “Captains airship pass” …
