I really enjoy changing my characters names around occasionally. I just don’t understand the high cost of the name change contract (10$). I would love to see it lowered. Anyone else agree?

It’s “free” if you buy the gems with in-game gold.

I’ve never used one. I have 41 characters and only one do I now think might have a better last name. For the same cost, I’m more inclined to make a new character with the desired name.

Well, it’s expensive in other MMOs too. I actually restarted my main character 2 times because I didn’t like her name, lol. But then I got crafts to 500 and finished map completion just to unlock everything on her so I had to buy a name change contract. Getting my crafts back to 500 would be expensive anyway, not to mention redoing everything. Sooo I think it’s actually worth it on a “maxed out” character.

Ever tried to legally change your name in real life? That’s painfully expensive too.

And, perhaps a better word would have been ‘exchange’ rather than ‘buy’. Probably not the best to cut quotes off mid-sentence. =P
