I noticed on guild rosters that you have your email address listed next to you name a few weeks ago. This kind of made sense to me in a “friends list” kind of context, I guess. But now I go to join a free tourney in sPVP and it identifies me by email address alone, which it never did before. I can understand my character name or account name, but my email address?

I know no one else can see it but me, but is this supposed to be a deterrent against bad behavior because you will think other people see your email address? I don’t understand this and I haven’t seen an a-net post about it.

Edit: sorry should’ve finished reading your post. An anet comment has stated that its merely a glitch but I don’t think it’s a particularly high priority one since its client side and of minimal impact
